Project 52 | Week 48 | In The Kitchen

Welcome back to the final weeks of our 52 Project with The Bloom Forum.  Our theme this week is In The Kitchen.  Well, I was sick again this week….yes, I said “again”.  Something different this time.  I did not take a new image but I am posting one from last December.  This is one of our favorite comfort foods…chicken pot pie!

And, since I’ve been sick, I’m still playing catch up and trying to get ready for a birthday party this weekend.  So this is what my kitchen looks like right now!  The dishes on the left are dirty and the ones on the right are clean (and there’s even clean dishes in the dishwasher).  Can you believe I’m even posting this and admitting what my kitchen looks like?  Sheesh!

Project 52 | Week 27 | Yellow

Well welcome back for another 52 on Fridays.  It’s been a really long week here at my house.  But we persevered and my kids helped me make a lemon cake and fresh lemonade.  Our theme is yellow  this week.  I’ve been looking forward to this one for a long time just so I could make the cake and lemonade!  YUM!!  (I will not say if there was or was not vodka in that lemonade ;) )  If you’ve missed the beginning of the project you can find the details here.

We have  a pretty small circle this week.  So it will be worth it to follow along and see what every other photographer has in store!  Next up is the very talented Jenn Duguay, Valleyview Alberta Photographer.  You won’t want to miss hers :) .  And please follow up with a visit to the Everything Bloom Blog.  There are several other groups participating in the project so you’ll have plenty to see!  Have a great weekend!

52 Project | Week 25 | Red White & Blue

Well we were on vacation last week, but now I’m back in the swing of things and back into my 52 Project.  This week we have quite a small group – 10 other ladies!  I guess everyone is enjoying their summer :)  Our theme this week is Red, White & Blue.  This could be interpreted many different ways, with Independence Day only days away.  I took it literal this week.  The kids and I got crafty!  We made marshmallow pops and pinwheels!

The marshmallows were fun!

The pinwheels were more difficult and more frustrating! ;)  That’s why there are no pictures.  I was helping out quite a bit.  I didn’t want them get hurt!
